Local Book Stores

Something that I have learned is that there is nothing better than walking into a bookstore and perusing the selections. Especially in the secular/Wiccan/Pagan homeschooling (or parenting) world, there is so much value in looking through a book and making sure that it fits your family and belief system. If you live in Los Angeles, California, then you are in luck as there are a plethora of amazing small bookstores. A few of my favorites are Vroman's, Alexandria II, the Indigo Collective, the Underdog and Octavia's Bookshelf. All of these are fantastic places where you can find amazing, diverse, inclusive, liberal, feminist, and witchy books. Even if you don't live in LA, there are small local bookstores everywhere that have fantastic resources and amazing people to help you find the perfect book. I also highly recommend shopping at local bookstores instead of huge corporations, such as amazon, so that you can support the small businesses and the amazing people in your area.
